The New Nuclear Danger: George W. Bush's Military-Industrial Complex
Caldicott, Helen
The nuclear cowboys are in charge of the White House and Congress has granted an additional three hundred million dollars to the nuclear arms industry. These huge military industrial conglomerates have seized a new market opportunity and found new life with the President's war on terror. It is time to make the connections between the merchants of death, stump politicians, the Pentagon, the braying conservative think tanks and a supremely corporate presidency. The American political economy is predicated on its ability to deliver death for profit. This is clearly the time for the public to return to the nuclear debate. In a dark time, the eye can begin to see.
