The central focus of this project was to develop recommendations to the Alberta Law Foundation based upon three objectives:
- To conduct a needs assessment to determine unmet demand for legal services in rural remote and Aboriginal communities in Northern Alberta;
- To identify the information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure available to assist with delivering such services and the capabilities and interest of Northern Albertans to use the available infrastructure; and
- To investigate how unmet demand can be responded to through targeted legal education and legal service delivery, particularly through e-learning.
